Joshua T. Smith, M.A, MTS is a passionate innovator who has blended his research of diverse cultures with his business development analysis to improve the performance of nonprofits, minority business owners, and real estate portfolio owners. With over a decade of experience in executive community organizing and nonprofit development, he has a proven track record of designing strategies to improve business operations. Joshua's collaborative leadership style empowers his team of diverse leaders to achieve ambitious goals for clients. Under his guidance, Joshua T. Smith Consulting has secured multi-million dollar development contracts for real estate portfolios and business assets. When asked what Joshua T. A native of Miami, FL, and first-generation scholar, Joshua has earned a bachelor's degree in Religion from Wiley College and two master's degrees in Theological Studies and Heritage Studies from Southern Methodist University and Arkansas State University. He is currently ABD* in  Arkansas State University's Ph.D. in Heritage Studies program. His research explores the relationship between Allen Temple Baptist Church and the Black Panther Party of Oakland, California, through the eyes of human rights activist and social justice pastor Rev. Dr. James Alfred Smith Sr.

 

In addition to Mr. Smith’s academic accomplishments and aspirations, he has served in several executive leadership and higher education roles.
